The Winter Farmers Market starts Nov. 6th this year, and to kick off the move indoors Bob Hoffa, Tenley Shewmake, and Sarah Lakiotes are hosting a Seed Swap from 10am to Noon that Saturday. If you have not been to a seed swap before, it is an interesting and fun opportunity to expand your knowledge and your garden. If you save seed, or if you have leftover commercial seed that is only a year or two old please bring some to trade; but even if you are a newbie you can get some seed at this event. There will be (at least) vegetable, legume, herb and flower seed available.
The Winter Market (and Seed Swap) will be in the Gus Douglas building at the WV State Fairgrounds. Hope to see you there!
