Market co-founder, Michael Buttrill of Bootstraps Farm, says “It is a joy for me to continue to serve the Lewisburg Farmers Market”. Since the inception of the of the Lewisburg Farmers Market, Bootstraps Farm has quadrupled in size. They now have four thousand square feet of greenhouse space. Bootstraps Farm uses organic growing techniques and does not use plastic mulch on their farm.
This season Bootstraps Farm will continue to provide their mainstay crops of salad mix and cooking greens. In addition, they will have a large variety of peppers, tomatoes, and eggplant in the Fall. Bootstraps Farm is now certified to sell rabbit meat at the market.
